What Makes a good Gaming Mouse?

The best gaming mouse will be a good combination of comfort, cost, weight, DPI, build quality, and buttons. It should also last you a while too.

Any mouse should be comfortable and this is even more true for a gaming mouse that you will probably use for hours on end. Take notice of this in the reviews for any mouse you may buy, if it’s uncomfortable people will let you know.

Cost is always a big part of what makes anything worth buying. You shouldn’t skimp when it comes to your mouse because it’s an important bit of your setup. But that doesn’t mean you have to spend a lot either. There are plenty of different levels of cost and a mouse to fit every need. Work out your priorities and buy a mouse to fit that’s made using the right kind of materials.

It comes with 11 buttons as standard and, for a mouse with this many buttons, they have done a good job of keeping it comfortable to use. If you’re concerned about how the mouse looks aesthetically then you can be safe in the knowledge that the mouse isn’t too over the top, especially considering its number of buttons and its customisation options, but it’s fair to say it won’t be for everyone.

It does still offer some customisation with the changeable colours but other than that this will fit into any office.

The mouse comes with 6 buttons and has great build quality for the price – each click is in that sweet spot where it feels satisfying but also isn’t too stiff. It’s a little lighter than some of the more expensive options out there but whether you like that or not comes down to personal preference.
